Astley Towne Architects were asked to provide an Historic Building and Garden Report for an area at Castle Hill, Kenilworth originally part of the lands of Kenilworth Castle.
The full history of the land and associated plots on Castle Hill was researched which helped immensley in the Planning process.
An extensive study was then undertaken on the gardens of No.1 Castle Hill and the development of the house. It transpired the garden was a very important Arts and Craft garden, with one of the first lawn tennis courts in the country.
